3herosoft DVD Creator can help you compile and burn your own video DVDs. It has a nice and practical interface that you will probably use with no difficulty. As source, it allows importing a wide range of movie formats. Moreover, it lets you add complete folders as well as individual files. It supports 4.7 Gb and 8.5 Gb discs and a gauge will let you know how much space is still available on the disc.

The imported files can be previewed using its built-in player but, unlike some similar applications, this one does not allow taking snapshots. Only a few editing actions can be performed on the videos. Thus, the only available editing function is trimming, which lets you convert just a segment from a file.

You can also create DVD menus. Besides using the built-in templates, you are allowed to customize your menus by adding your own music and background picture. However, you cannot add new visual elements or change the position of existing ones.

In general, 3herosoft DVD Creator can do its job with decent results. The program not only allows burning discs, you can also save the contents to DVD folders and ISO image files. Unfortunately, it does not allow as many editing features as you may desire.
